How can I secure a car sale at a car lot while the lender is sending money?

Question by Wendy H: How can I secure a car sale at a car lot while the lender is sending money?
I found a car I want and I believe I am going to buy it tomorrow (Saturday). My lender has pre-approved me and is ready to send the money. Can I give the car sales lot a deposit check to secure the car before my lender gets the money to them so they do not sell the car?
