I am considering buying a 4d or coup Toyota or Honda in the range of 4000 to 5000.

When dealing with individuals, since I don't know much about cars, I don't know who is telling the truth. When dealing with dealers it is said that dealer prices are higher, but don't dealers also have to meet certain criteria and tell you about what is wrong with the car when selling it to you?
