Is there any way to lighten car window tint?

Question by starfccker: Is there any way to lighten car window tint?
I got a ticket saying my windows are to dark in my car...I was wondering if there was a way to lighten the tint, instead of removing it all together.

Answer by PaulNo way. It must be removed. Get the ticket signed off then install a lighter tint.
